2020 can be characterized as a difficult year, the year of closed borders and escalation of interethnic conflicts. However, the chairman of the International peacekeeping movement «Women Dialogue» Elena Semerikova managed to visit Minsk, Kiev, Bishkek and Erevan with peacekeeping missions. In the forums, implemented by Elena Semerikova, women from different countries spoke one language – language of peace.
Ideologist and founder of the organization «Women Dialogue». Initially the organization had regional status in 2003, yet in a year it was changed to all-Russian. Since 2020 «Women Dialogue» has become the International peacekeeping movement «Women Dialogue».
From 2006 to 2008 Elena Semerikova was a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation (she was elected from public associations). She was a part of the Chamber’s commission on development of charity, mercy and volunteering and on tolerance and freedom of conscience. Elena Semerikova obtained the status of the full 3rd class state councilor of the Russian Federation in 2008. She is an academician at the International Academy of Spiritual Unity of Nations of the World (UIA).
The International peacekeeping movement «Women Dialogue» is a nonprofit organization, that acts on the basis of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Federal law on «Non-commercial organizations», the Federal law on «Public associations», the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, other laws and legislations of the Russian Federation and the Charter of the movement. It follows generally accepted international principles and norms.
